Story blanket

 

After Kirsten read us the story of "Fifty-five Feathers" we decided to make our own story blanket. We think it is amazing. It will hang in our library and over Christmas you will find it hanging at Linwood Library.

Pacifica Day

We had a wonderful day with delicious food and a fun concert. We sang "LO'U  'AIGA".

Room 1 and 2 at the A and P Show.

 She told us about the story blanket.

 Dan and Kirsten held it up high.

 She read us the story of "55 Feathers".

Lastly, we had "The Kuia and the Spider".

Parihaka Day

Here we are with Our Lady, Star of the Sea visiting us in Room 1. We did some amazing weaving on our fish.                                                                                                                                                        

 We decorated our fish.

 We shared activities.

 We played games.

We did puzzles.
Then we went outside for a hangi lunch and an ice block.
